Quickie November & December stats
Because I’m catching up with my reports, I lumped November and December 2025 together. Here’s what happened then:
- Writing through Medium: 8,514 followers and $506.24
- Affiliate sales: $221.21
- Gumroad: $130.62

Everything has been very low, but to be fair, I haven’t written as much in these months. I only wrote 33 articles in those four months. It’s one of those risk/reward things. Do you spend a lot of time creating content knowing it likely won’t get you far? Or do you create it and hope for something to pop?
The thing is, my stats have been low before. Several times! And I know that the more content I put out there, the more chances there are for something to take off. You have to be in it to win it, as they say!
It’s always my goal to write more articles. Now it’s about making the time for it…

Here are the follower stats for January – April:
- January: 8,548
- February: 8,602
- March: 8,618
- April: 8,634
Pretty slow growth, which stems from not putting the time and effort into the platform like I have been previously.
Earnings:
January’s earnings were actually good, and I’ll show you why in a minute. But it’s been downhill from there.
My top earner in January was this story:
This one made $9.24, but at least my read ratio is back up where it should be! Not that it did me much good…

This one made $13.20. Not bad, but not great. At least the read ratio is good one this one!

Another good read ratio with less-than-stellar earnings at $8.00.
Here’s why January’s earnings were so good:
These two articles got a second wind. (Thank you, New Year’s resolutions!) They both made a very nice amount in January.
That’s the fun thing about Medium. This can happen at any time when you least expect it.

Affiliate sales for January – April: $434.91
Gumroad = $196.61 (This includes any affiliate sales and takes out affiliate fees and platform fees.) Gumroad now has a rule that you need to make $100 in order to cash out, which is what I base this number on. So there may not be as many of these Gumroad updates, until I can get things flowing there again.
